There are only two NHL games tonight and if a battle between the best of the west (Anaheim at Chicago on NHL Network) isn't your thing, there are five NCAA games available nationally tonight including the Hockey City Classic at TCF Bank Stadium between Ohio State and Minnesota on the Big Ten Network.
6:30 ET Penn State at Michigan State - BTN 7:00 ET Boston University at #3 Boston College - NESN 7:00 ET Western Michigan at #2 St Cloud State - CBSSports 8:00 ET Lake Superior at #15 Notre Dame - NBCSports 9:00 ET Ohio State at #1 Minnesota - BTN
With 65 NHL draftees and a handful of potential free agents participating in these five games, you really can't go wrong, but I'll have my eyes primarily focused on BU at BC (I can't promise I won't be flipping channels). The Beanpot is just around the corner and these two teams will play in the first round on February 3rd and I'm hoping tonights game will be a tasty little preview.
Plus, you'll get to see BC Eagle, Hobey Baker Favorite and Flames prospect Johnny Gaudreau.
