Hearing there are numerous teams "kicking tires and maybe more than that pretty soon" with the Boston Bruins about the availability of Loui Eriksson. I was told that Peter Chiarelli "is not primarily worried about the optics" of a potential deal involving Eriksson.
I was told that even though Eriksson might never regain his 30-goal form a lot of teams covet him as a two-way winger with speed and the Bruins "could be looking at a multiple offer scenario that could drive the price high enough to pull the trigger by midseason."
