The Ducks have announced that they have sent goalie John Gibson to the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL for the weekend. He needs work and he'll get it in the minors, but I find it curious that they said for the weekend when its only Wednesday and the home opener is on Friday. Jason LaBarbara was recalled to take his place.
Also, Patrick Maroon and Bryan Allen have been placed on Injured Reserve. The Ducks have brought up RW Chris Wagner to fill out the roster.
