Blue Jackets Well Represented At Memorial Cup (Blue Jackets)

The Blue Jackets may no longer be in the playoffs, but between the World Championships and Memorial Cup, they're well represented across the hockey universe.

Oliver Bjorkstrand and his Portland Winterhawks lost Game 7 to Edmonton in the WHL final, so he won't be there, but Columbus will still have two prospects playing in the tournament.

Josh Anderson's London Knights are obviously the host team, and Kerby Rychel's Guelph Storm won the OHL Championship beating the North Bay Battalion in five games.

Between Windsor and Guelph, Rychel has had a helluva year, putting up 122 points in 78 regular season/playoff OHL games, as well as representing Canada at the World Juniors.

Anderson, who projects to be a third line forward at the NHL level, did well putting up 60 points in 68 regular season/playoff games, and also played for Canada at the World Juniors.

Expect to hear a lot more from these two in the tournament, but Rychel in particular, as his Storm are probably the early favorites heading in.

I'll be in London to cover the tournament in its entirety so expect updates in this space, as well as on Twitter.
