The Columbus Blue Jackets look to build on their perfect preseason record (3-0) tonight as they take on the St. Louis Blues.
Columbus' record to date is spotless, but their performances certainly haven't been as they've been outshot considerably in all three contests.
Things aren't about to get any easier for them tonight, either, as Paul Stastny is set to make his Blues debut while Jay Bouwmeester, Alex Pietrangelo, David Backes, Alex Steen and co. will also be in the lineup.
The Blue Jackets definitely aren't putting their best foot forward tonight, as a lot of AHL players and guys battling for 4th line roles will be in the lineup.

What to watch:
- Michael Chaput entered camp as a long shot, but a solid preseason to date has put him in the conversation for a roster spot. He'll need to continue to impress in order to force his way onto the roster.
- Cody Goloubef is another guy who's had an impressive camp. He has a shot at making the team, but was considered as a No. 7 or No. 8 guy. His performances to date put him in the conversation for an opening night position. Dalton Prout and Tim Erixon better watch out.
- Jared Boll may have a $1.7 million contract, but his spot in the opening night lineup isn't assured. Brian Gibbons has been excellent, so if Hjalmarsson or Jerry D'Amigo play well they could push him out of the lineup.
- With Fedor Tyutin being the only established NHL veteran on the backend, you can expect him to play 25+ minutes tonight.
