John Buccigross tweeted earlier today that the Capitals and UFA Paul Bissonnette are close to signing a deal.
The tough guy, whom fans lovingly call "BizNasty" was not resigned by the Arizona Coyotes this summer and has been trying to land on a job a team that needs some toughness.
I'm not sure why the Caps would need Bissonnette, but we don't know anything until more information is released.
Bissonnette made $750K last season, and the Capitals have a hair over a million to spend on the cap.
