The Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks kick off their respective preseason schedules tonight with split-squad games.
Colorado will go with Sami Aittokallio and Calvin Pickard in goal at the Pepsi Center, while Reto Berra and Roman Will will be in net at the Honda Center in Anaheim.
The Avalanche forwards in Denver will be Andrew Agozzino, Conner Bleackley, Daniel Briere, Matt Duchene, Dennis Everberg, Mitchell Heard, Joey Hishon, Jarome Iginla, Nathan MacKinnon, Max Talbot, Alex Tanguay and Tomas Vincour.
The defensemen: Chris Bigras, Erik Johnson, Max Noreau, Zach Redmond, Duncan Siemens and Brad Stuart.

The forwards who will play in Anaheim: Troy Bourke, Paul Carey, Marc-Andre Cliche, Samuel Henley, Cody McLeod, Garrett Meurs, Borna Rendulic, Michael Schumacher, Michael Sgarbossa, Colin Smith, Ben Street and Jesse Winchester.
The defensemen: Bruno Gervais, Nate Guenin, Nick Holden, Daniel Maggio, Karl Stollery and Ryan Wilson.
This is preseason, a chance for the coaches to give some of their younger players an opportunity to show what they can do, so a number of regulars are getting the night off -- Tyson Barrie, Jan Hejda, Gabriel Landeskog, Ryan O'Reilly and Semyon Varlamov.
Patrick Bordeleau (back surgery) is expected to miss about three months. Jamie McGinn (back) and John Mitchell (migraines) are listed as day to day.
