This will be very brief. I'm still away and I'm doing this on my phone.
To recap the past few days:
Francois Beauchemin broke his finger and is out 4-6 weeks. Clayton Stoner has a mild case of the mumps. Without those two defensemen and Ben Lovejoy (still on IR), the Ducks were thumped by Chicago yesterday 4-1 at the Honda Center. To address the the current lack of depth on defense , the Ducks acquired Eric Brewer from Tampa for a draft pick. Tonight the Ducks are in San Jose to take on the Sharks.
