Al Montoya was all smiles as his team gathered around him after the Panthers beat the Isles 4-2. Perhaps it was the unlucky Fisherman throwback jersey at play. Or perhaps, I'm right in the first place -- This team misses Kyle Okposo.
Anders Lee had the Isles only goals and was the second star. As much as I like Anders Lee, who now has 15 goals on the season, that is just unacceptable. The Isles outshot the Cats, but that didn't matter. "They couldn't find their rhythm."
Capuano still liked the way they played, but they have to find a way to win. "Certain guys are just passing chances. We got some guys that need to step up, obviously. They have to find their game. Every team goes through injuries. You can't make excuses. You have to pick your game up." Does this mean bag skate? Nah... This is Jack we're talking about.

While the Isles didn't give the Panthers that many power plays, they were 1 for 2. While the Isles were 1 for 3 when they had the man advantage.
"Pucks seem to be bouncing around on us." That was another possibility offered by Captain John Tavares. No one mentioned the amount of missed calls that also effected the game. One missed call bothered JT so much, that he took a slashing penalty on Boland. While his nose was hurting, it would have hurt more had the Panthers scored while he sat.
Maybe they should have put Colin in the line-up. Maybe Jack needs to shake things up a little. Too many odd man rushes, too many turn-overs.
