The off-season isn't even here fully yet and already when you combine the coaching rumors with the draft trade rumors...it is shaping into an extremely intriguing off season...
And then there are the UFA's. This July 1 crop is lacking in star power, but not at all lacking in the kind of UFA signings which tend to actually matter when it comes to a player paying off for a team's success. Key role players abound in this group and none is more talked about than Justin Williams.
Justin Williams has shown enormous value as a key playoff player in the NHL. Sources tell me some from Kings would like to move along, while others are hoping he stays...
There are some NHL teams who will be all over Williams though. I have heard St. Louis, San Jose, NJ, and the Bruins all are keeping an eye on this situation...I would put St. Louis as the favorite at this point....but it's early.
