As remarkable as it sounds, and as little as the NHL wants it to be true, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins are both in deep, deep trouble this morning.
The Penguins have four games remaining, and today they face a Philadelphia Flyers team they haven't beaten this season -- they haven't beaten in nearly 600 days actually -- the Penguins also have the New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres left.
The Ottawa Senators play the Toronto Maple Leafs today, then Pittsburgh, the New York Rangers and end against Philly.
The Bruins only have three games left: Washington, Panthers and the Lightning.

Penguins vs. Flyers Flyers are 3-0 having outscored the Pens 12-6 Penguins vs. Sens Penguins are 2-0 but have only won each game by a goal and haven't played since February. Penguins vs. Isles Isles are 3-1 (16-11) Penguins vs. Sabres Pens have won both dominating 11-1
Senators vs. Toronto Both teams have won twice (15-15) Sens vs. Penguins Pens have won both by a goal. one in a SO Sens vs. Rangers Rangers have won both..one in OT Sens vs. Flyers these teams split each winning 2-1 in a shootout
Bruins vs Capitals Washington has won both games and the Bruins haven't scored in either. Bruins vs. Panthers Bruins won 2 of 3 all one goal games. Boston won in OT, Florida in a shootout Bruins vs Tampa Bruins have won 2 of 3, by one goal a piece, and Tampa won the last 5-3
So.....this is VERY wide-open..
