Stars Gameday: 2/24/15 @ WPG (Stars)

Wrapping up a two-game mini road-trip. Lindy Ruff's Dallas Stars (27-24-9) are in Manitoba on Tuesday to take on Paul Maurice's Winnipeg Jets (30-20-11). Game time at the MTS Centre is 7:00 p.m. CST. The game will be televised locally on Fox Sports Southwest.

This is the fourth and final meeting of the season between the Central Division teams, and the second and final game in Winnipeg. The Stars are 1-2-0 in the season series to date. The home team has lost all three games. On Dec. 9 at the American Airlines Center, the Stars suffered an ugly 5-2 loss. On Jan. 15 in Dallas, the Jets were 2-1 victors. On January 31 in Winnipeg, the Stars captured a 5-2 win.

Dallas has seen third-period leads slip away in each of the last two games. On Sunday in St. Paul, the Stars took a 1-0 lead into the third period and then imploded. The Minnesota Wild struck for six unanswered goals in the final period.

On the Stars' injury front, Tyler Seguin (knee), Patrick Eaves (concussion), Travis Moen (upper body) and Valeri Nichushkin (hip surgery) remain out of the lineup.

Winnipeg, currently situated in the higher wildcard spot in the Western Conference playoff race, are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss in Toronto on Saturday. The Jets were unable to build on or protect leads and a point ultimately slipped away. Tuesday's game marks the start of a four-game homestand.

On the injury front for Winnipeg, veteran forward Blake Wheeler (undisclosed) is questionable. Defensemen Ben Chiarot (hand) and Grant Clitsome (back) and forwards Matt Halischuk (lower body) and Mathieu Perreault (lower body) are out of the lineup.
