Stars Gameday: 12/1/16 @ PIT (Stars)

Wins on the road have been tough to come by thus far but Lindy Ruff's Dallas Stars (9-9-6 overall, 3-6-4 in away games and winless in the last four) will try to reverse that trend on Thursday night as they take on Mike Sullivan's defending Stanley Cup champion Pittsburgh Penguins (13-7-3). Game time at PPG Paints Arena (formerly Consol Energy Center) is 6:00 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest Plus.

Dallas enters this game coming off a frustrating 3-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. Pittsburgh, which has slogged through a 4-5-1 stretch over its last 10 games and is playing the second half of back-to-back games, is coming off a 5-3 loss to the New York Islanders on Wednesday. Antti Niemi is expected to get the start in goal for the Stars, while Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to start for the Penguins.
