Sidney Crosby didn't think it would take this long in-between Stanley Cup victories and this time around he has promised himself to enjoy the moment more. With the Penguins going to two Stanley Cup Final appearances by the time Sidney Crosby was 22 years old you could understand why he would think that it could/would/should be a regular thing. It wasn't a regular thing. In fact there were some real low points along the way. Most notably his concussion issues which cost him about a year in a half of his career smack dab in the middle of his prime years.
Today he returned the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia for the first time in seven years. Here are some of the photos circulating

Can't start the day without some coffee. Perhaps a new commercial featuring Lord Stanley in the future?...

Sidney Crosby also happens to be running his hockey school right now. It is the second year that he has put together this hockey camp which features kids from all over North America and beyond. This year was a little extra special
Crosby surprised his campers with the Stanley Cup. They had no idea it was coming. Their reactions = 💯. -MC pic.twitter.com/ZGLS701zy5

Apparently Sid has been teaching the kids about superstition at the camp. There are probably few players in the league more superstitious than Sidney Crosby
It was so cute how many of the campers wouldn't touch the Cup. A couple of them were very adamant that it was bad luck. -MC

ESPN's Joey MacDonald caught up with Sidney Crosby and asked him if there would be any differences between the 2009 visit and the current one:
"I was pretty happy with what I did in those few days [in 2009], to be honest with you. I couldn't believe I squeezed that much in two days," Crosby said with a smile. "I didn't know there was enough time to get that much in. If anything, I went to bed pretty early the first night because I got the Cup early and had a really early morning, starting out the next day, and I told myself I'm not going to go to bed that early next time. I'm going to find a way to get through those two days with as little sleep as possible. I'm going to enjoy it.
Sid will be up late tonight and will get to enjoy the Stanley Cup in his hometown again tomorrow.
