Just a quick hit today.
Anaheim placed two defensemen on injured reserve, a recalled two others from San Diego today.
Clayton Stoner, who missed the past two games is now on IR and will be able to return when ready.
Simon Despres was also placed on IR. Various reports say Despres suffered what is thought to be a concussion last night, after a highly questionable hit by Av's defenseman Tyson Barrie. Bruce Boudreau was asked why Despres was not a this morning's practice. He responded that Despres "felt off" and wasn't able to go.
To replace Stone and Despres; Korbinian Holzer and Shea Theodore were brought up from the minors. Ducks fans have been looking forward to the debut of the 2014 first round draft pick, Theodore. A talented skater and passer, he could be the spark plug Anaheim needs to turn around their poor start to the season.
