Here is a quick hit of much interest.
According to three sources now, the Sharks are making it known that Dion Phaneuf is very much on their radar and the Leafs will likely be very interested in the offer. I am told a deal almost happened this past summer between the two teams but was blocked by a player involved refusing to accept the deal...
"There were still a few details to be hammered out for certain, but they were't looked at as stumbling blocks...it never got to that point however," One source noted, adding, "There is still a deal to be had, but both teams need to re-examine their expectations..."
The belief is strong that by the draft, if not before, these teams will be back at this...
