This game needs no build up. These teams don't particularly like each other; and there was some ill-will last year when the predators attempted to effectively ban Chicago fans from their arena during the playoffs. Division rivals, possible playoff opponents. All the elements of a tough game are there.
That is . . . if . . . the Blackhawks show up and play their game. They did for the most part versus the Jets Sunday afternoon.
Swedish center Dennis Rasmussen is up from Rockford; Tanner Kero goes down. Trevor Daley is day to day and out tonight. Your guess is as good as mine as far as pairings—the Blackhawks had an optional practice (no set lines or pairings) yesterday.
