Yes, the Wild did get a point in the standings last night but 2 points were served up on a platter for their taking.
The Blues came into the game with just a fraction of their arsenal. No Tarasenko, no Stastny, no Schwartz, No Shattenkirk should have spelled doom for St. Louis.
That did not happen because of the Wild ineptitude on the power play. 0 for 5 on the PP which included a two man advantage for a minute. The Wild looked out of sorts with open ice making poor decision after poor decision.
That same style of play continued into the 3 on 3 overtime and it seemed as though they were just waiting to lose.
Lot's to work on before they welcome the Predators on Thursday, but in the end they did take 3 out of 4 weekend divisional points so not awful, but still hard to swallow last night's result.
