More on this Late tonight I am told, but for now I am hearing the Ottawa Senators and the Tampa Bay Lightning with strong interest in Patrick Marleau. As was reported last week Patrick has a very limited number of teams he wants to go to, it doesn't appear he feels he has a place in the new system and direction the Sharks are taking.
The Senators have been looking hard for a top six forward for quite some time now, but I do believe Steve Yzerman in Tampa Bay may hold a better chance of convincing Patrick to move as well as better chips to send back to San Jose.
