Checked in with my best Chicago source today. Ran some of yesterday’s rumors by. Here’s what I got back:
SHARP
There is validity to the Toronto rumor, but the teams are more in a “parameters of a deal… stage. Nothing is imminent.

The Hawks are definitely waiting on a better idea of the cap before pulling the trigger.
Meanwhile, the following teams have discussed Sharp with the Hawks (in addition to the Leafs): Pittsburgh, Washington, Florida, and most recently, the Islanders.
Montreal was not mentioned.
CRAWFORD
Teams are calling about the Chicago netminder but the Hawks are absolutely not dealing him unless the cap comes in lower than expected. Then you can expect robust discussion.
