If Mike Reilly watch wasn't already underway it certainly is now.
The 21-year-old blue liner is officially an unrestricted free agent and is free to talk to any and all suitors.
Reilly was already talking to a handful of teams - Columbus granted permission to interested parties - but now no team targeting Reilly needs approval from the Blue Jackets.
While Reilly can't put pen to paper until July 1st he can unofficially make his decision prior to then.
Reilly has stressed throughout the entire process that the Blue Jackets are still being considered but if he wanted to sign in Columbus I think he'd have done so by now.
Reilly knows what is out there. He has spoken to plenty of other franchises and has had ample time to make his decision. I think it's safe to assume he's going elsewhere.
So which team will he sign with?
Well, the teams that have been rumored since the start are still in the mix. That list includes the Minnesota Wild - his dad is a minority owner - and the Chicago Blackhawks, among others.
