It’s worth mentioning that the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Boston Bruins by a score of 3-2 in a shootout on Saturday night. By beating the Bruins for a second straight time, the Lightning eliminated Boston from the playoff race once and for all. Credit unlikely sources (i.e. Jonathan Marchessault and Nikita Nesterov) for bringing the offence the team needed, and Ben Bishop for shutting the door. Nobody in Bolts Nation will be sad to see the Bruins golfing at this time of year.
