The New Jersey Devils' season may be over, but that's not the case for some of their prospects.
2014 1st round pick John Quenneville and 2013 3rd round pick Ryan Kujawinski are still playing - and well - in the CHL playoffs.
Quenneville, who struggled through injuries this season and had a bit of a down year, has found his game again for Brandon, and is starting to put up numbers worthy of a 1st round selection.
After tallying 47 points in 57 regular season games, Quenneville has recorded seven goals and 15 points in 13 playoff games, and has six points in three games against the Calgary Hitmen.
Quenneville's Wheat Kings lead the series 2-1, and are favoured to advance to the WHL Final.
On the other side of the country, Kujawinski continues to come up big for the North Bay Battalion.
Kujawinski scored 21 goals in 34 regular season games after being acquired by the Troops, and has carried that into the playoffs where he has six goals in 12 games.
Among those six goals are a pair of overtime winners - one against the Barrie Colts in the 2nd round of the playoffs - and the other coming Tuesday night against the favored Oshawa Generals.
Kujawinski's Battalion now have a 2-1 lead over Oshawa with Game 4 going in North Bay tonight.
