The Islanders have announced the signing of Anders Lee to a 4 year contract extension at 3.75 million dollars per season. In 76 games with the Islanders this year, Anders scored 25 goals and added 16 assists in his first full season with the big club.
This looks like a nice bridge deal for the team and the players and allows Lee to really grow into this deal. In other news, Elliotte Friedman is reporting that the Isles are close to signing Thomas Hickey to a three year deal worth 2.2 million per season.
