Islanders have signed defenseman Scott Mayfield to a two-year, one-way deal worth $575K the first season and $675K the second. The AAV is $625K. Mayfield played six games last season, scoring his first career NHL goal. I would imagine that he goes into camp as the seventh defenseman.
That leaves Ryan Strome, Alan Quine and Christopher Gibson as the remaining RFAs.
