The Islanders were among a handful of teams who made their pitch to free agent forward Jimmy Vesey Tuesday. John Tavares was in attendance during their meeting in Boston to help recruit the Hobey Baker winner.
The Rangers, Blackhawks and Bruins will meet with Vesey today. It is believed that he will make his decision on Friday.
