We know the Tampa Bay Lightning will be playing for the Stanley Cup but we don't know who their opponent will be.
That will be decided tonight, though, when the Anaheim Ducks host the Chicago Blackhawks in a pivotal Game 7.
In this post hotstove members share their picks as to who will come out on top.
Todd Cordell: Chicago I really like this Anaheim team and would not be surprised if they pull through but I picked Chicago to make it to the Stanley Cup back in October and I can't go against them now.
Chicago has basically been using four defensemen all series and I think they'll be key again tonight. If they start to wear out the Blackhawks will be in trouble, but if Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook and co. can give 25-30 quality minutes I like their chances.
It should be a great game.
Tim Chiasson: Anaheim It's pretty simple. I picked the Ducks to win when the series started and since I picked Tampa and they won that means the Ducks will too.
On a more serious note, I just like the Ducks more. Chicago is a quality possession team, full of experience, and it's hard to pick against them but Ryan Getzlaf is an animal and I think he's going to carry the Ducks to the Finals.
Hopefully it's a close game like the Tampa/New York game seven and the Chicago Blackhawks board their flight to cap hell without another Stanley Cup Finals appearance.
Go Ducks.
