If Tyler Seguin is out I don't see any way the Stars get through the 2nd round.
The Stars allow a lot of goals but they have success because they play fire wagon hockey and can score as many goals as they need to. Without Seguin they'll struggle to do that; especially against top-tier teams like St. Louis (or Chicago).
If Seguin is out I don't think the Stars have a real shot of doing damage.
James Tanner I think that even with Seguin, the Stars are in tough against any of the good teams (St.Louis, Anaheim, LA, San Jose, Chicago) They just don't have the goaltending or the depth on D that most of those teams have.
