Speaking for myself personally, the results of Tuesday's election made me realize that the smugness and arrogance of myself and people who share my socioeconomic views on things has had a destructive power that we didn't (but should have) foreseen.
The entire thing is disturbing to me on many levels and that being said, I am going to put it aside and transition myself back into talking about hockey. Hopefully, I can use some of these lessons in my personal life and my hockey-writing life and attempt to become less dismissive of bad ideas (*smirks)........on to it then.........

Mike Smith remains injured and continues to have the most hilarious name in sports. As for Michael Stone he is nearing a return and Martin Hanzal is not.
Domi had a three point night, but I think it was probably on Tuesday.
The next game is on Saturday against Boston and I'll actually watch that one.
Don't let the extreme minority of people who see this as a vindication of their hatred win. Go out of your way to listen to people who disagree with you. Watch Colbert.
