With the Stamkos injury the Lightning really had not choice, but they made it official today and recalled Jonathan Drouin.
You may remember Mr. Drouin from such events as "Suspension for NOT showing up to a game in the AHL" and "The 2016 NHL Trade Deadline." Drouin did of course return to Syracuse and now is back in the NHL for a Tampa team which has been ravaged by injuries.
After the Trade Deadline all I was hearing was how certain it was that Drouin would be moved at the Draft. In fact, I know of several teams who already talked contingencies with Tampa...I guess the question now is what happens if Drouin performs well for Tampa...or doesn't? Does his value suffer? Is it still possible to mend fences here?
What do you think?
We will discuss all this and more on today's Buzzcast Live at 1:15pm....
