No real update on this, but the Caps seem to be the front runner for Calgary's Curtis Glencross.
According to Andrew Walker of Brady and Walker Sportsnet 590 The Fan, a deal for Glencross to the Caps is getting close and he will, or has already, waived his NTC to go to Washington.

Glencross has a cap hit of $2.55M according to NHLNumbers.com, so it's possible we'll be saying goodbye to someone like Jason Chimera.
