Notes:
1) The Blue Jackets enter tonight's game red hot having won a franchise record of nine consecutive games. They're playing an elite team that's in the midst of a battle for the Presidents' Trophy, so this will certainly be no easy task. They'll need Sergei Bobrovsky to match Henrik Lundqvist's efforts at the other end of the rink.
2) Marko Dano has really turned it on over the last month or so, as he has 11 points in his last 11 games. He has at least two shots in nine of those 11 games, too, so it's not like he's riding unsustainable shooting percentages to success. He'll be a tough guy for New York to defend because he is shifty, strong on the puck and possesses obvious skill.
3) The Rangers have quite a few puck movers, and capable offensive players on the back end. Columbus will need to watch out for defensemen jumping into the play tonight.
4) New York is one of the fastest teams in the league, and they always play with great pace. They have quite a few guys capable of taking the top off the defense, so Columbus will have to watch their gaps, and always keep their feet moving. If they get caught flat footed it won't be pretty.
