What to watch:
1) The Maple Leafs have lost 10 in a row, but they're not much worse (if at all) than New Jersey. Last time out the Devils played them in a game about as exciting as a root canal, and it took late-game heroics from the Devils to squeeze out a 2-1 shootout victory. The Devils are playing low-event, low-scoring hockey and Toronto is struggling to fill the net, too, so I'm expecting another low-scoring contest tonight.
2) Since Lou Lamoriello and co. took over behind the bench, Adam Larsson leads the Devils with a +8.6CF Rel% in 15 games played. He'll have another tough task against Phil Kessel's line tonight, but I'm sure he'll be up for it.
3) Cory Schneider has allowed two goals or less in 10 of his last 12 starts, and he's won the Devils seven of those games. He's single handedly winning games and he may be able to do so again tonight against a struggling offensive team in Toronto.
4) Mark Fraser and Pete Harrold are last and second last on New Jersey in CF% Relative to the team since Lamoriello took over, so naturally they've been put back together on the bottom pairing. Toronto has some offensive talent on all four lines, so regardless of which unit is on the ice they're capable of causing Fraser - Harrold some problems.
