What to watch:
1) Melker Karlsson is off to a pretty impressive start to his NHL career, having recorded 11 points in 17 games. It seems he's earned himself a top-6 spot in the lineup - at least for now - and rookies tend to give the Devils trouble, so I'll put two and two together and assume he's going to burn them tonight.
2) It'll be interesting to see what team shows up tonight. Will it be the Devils we saw against LA when they picked up a relatively convincing win, or will it be the team we saw get curb-stomped in Anaheim?
3) San Jose has good forward depth, and New Jersey is pairing Mark Fraser with Marek Zidlicky. That's something the Sharks should be able to take advantage of.
4) Adam Larsson has played at least 20 minutes in seven consecutive games, and has four assists in that span, but he'll have his work cut out for him tonight. Playing against a very formidable top-6 that possesses some elite two-way players will be a tall order for the 22-year-old.
