2015 IIHF WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: FLYERS UPDATES
* Team Switzerland sustained its third post-regulation loss of the World Championships, dropping a 2-1 overtime decision to Sweden after Tre Kronor's Filip Forsberg converted a power play scoring chance after Switzerland's Morris Trachsler was penalized for playing with a broken stick. Flyers defenseman Mark Streit remained pointless for the defensively strong but offensively weak Swiss team. He was minus one with three shots on goal in 21:16 of ice time.
* On Sunday, the Swiss team takes on Team Canada, featuring Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier and Brayden Schenn(who played for the first time in the tournament in Canada's last game but only received 5:23 of ice time). Game time is 2:15 p.m. EDT.
* Team Czech Republic, featuring captain Jakub Voracek, plays Germany on Sunday. Game time is 10:15 a.m. EDT. Voracek has six points (two goals, four assists) in the team's five games played to date.
* Team Austria lost in overtime, 2-1, to Latvia on Saturday. Michael Raffl assisted on the lone Austrian goal, posting four shots on goal. He was minus one in 19:27 of ice time. Austria, in last place in Group A but tied in points (three) with France and only one point behind Latvia, plays Germany on Monday.
* Team Denmark delivered a 4-1 win over arch-rival Norway on Saturday. Phantoms defenseman Oliver Lauridsen logged 23:44 of ice time. He was minus-one with one shot on goal. The Danes play winless Slovenia on Monday.

QMJHL PRESIDENT'S CUP: GAME THREE
Trailing two games to zero in the QMJHL President's Cup Finals, Flyers 2013 first-round pick Samuel Morin and the Rimouski Oceanic will try to climb back into the series against the Quebec Remparts. The series shifts to Quebec City on Sunday for Game Three. Game time is 3:00 p.m. EDT.
Morin is minus four (plus-one, minus-five not including a Quebec power play goal he was out for in Game One) in the series to date. For the playoffs thus far, however, he is plus-10 with six points (one goal, five assists) in 14 games. Morin played well in the semifinals against Val-d'Or but had a very rough first game of the Finals against the Remparts. On a teamwide basis, very little has gone right for the Oceanic through two games in the Finals.

TODAY IN FLYERS HISTORY: THE PELLE EKLUND SHOW
On May 10, 1987, the Philadelphia Flyers grabbed a three games to one lead in the Wales Conference Finals against the Montreal Canadiens with a 6-3 win at the Forum. Flyers forward Pelle Eklund put on an electrifying show, scoring a hat trick in spectacular fashion.

FLYERS ALUMNI FANTASY HOCKEY CAMP
The Flyers Alumni will host a fantasy hockey camp from August 21-24 in Atlantic City, open to anyone age 21 and older. Instructors and Alumni participants will include Bernie Parent, Brian Propp, Ian Laperriere, Todd Fedoruk, Andre "Moose" Dupont, Dave "the Hammer" Schultz, Joe Watson and Bob "the Hound" Kelly.
The registration deadline is June 1. Participation costs $3,000 apiece but it is free to register a spot online. Over on the Flyers' Alumni website, there is more information on camp-related activities and on-ice schedules.
