Flyers not moving D prospects...
There has been a ton of speculation that the Flyers would move one of their top D prospects and after talking to some trusted sources, that doesn't appear close to happening. In fact, one source said it would take "one of the top two picks in the draft." In other words, a big fat "no way."
The Flyers like their young D coming and also are a bit unsure of Del Zotto...who wants a longer deal than they are willing to do as of this point.
Oshie and Pitt?
The rumors about TJ Oshie moving are persistent...mainly because the people know of the rift between coach and player as well as the desire to get Stastny top 6 forward time....However, I am told Oshie is not moving and if any of the top 6 were possibly going it would be Steen..still unlikely.
The Penguins are desperate to add wingers however. Right now, the Penguins are a very thin team and depending on a ton on prospects filling top roles....some who haven't really even played in the NHL much if at all...
Hawks closing in on Reilly?
In my opinion Mike Reilly made a terrible decision when walking away from Columbus. This is a team that will be a factor for years to come and he could have been the perfect part in that run...Instead he is looking elsewhere....The Hawks, who need to add a D man on a ELC and of course can offer immediate team success...look like they may be the frontrunner...
