Jack Freakin Eichel!

The pride of North Chalmsford, Mass was the Cardiac Kid on Tuesday when he scored the OTGWG with 30 seconds remaining in Team USA's entertaining match with Slovakia.

Eichel was the first NCAA player in at least 10 years to have scored 3 OT goals in the 2014-15 regular season. He scored the OT winner on Tuesday.

This kid is a prime time performer. Clutch.

Watch how a poised and confident Eichel wheels hard out of the corner,eyes up, looking for a target at the goal mouth to pass to. He is so deceptively fast that the Slovakian D and goalie read pas-first and were scorched by Eichel's deadly poison dart.

That, my friends, is the type of play that NHLers like Pat Kane, Jamie Benn, Steven Stamkos and John Tavares make.

Eichel is simply OUTSTANDING at all facets of his game.

Team USA win Group B (6-1 record) and now advances to play the Swiss in the quarter-final round.

Eichel now has 2 goals and 4 assists in his 7 games played at the World Championships.

The future Buffalo Sabres center closed the show in dramatic fashion.

"It was great to get the goal there," said Eichel, who was chirped heavily on Sunday after he lifted his stick at an opportune time and got a piece what would have been line mate Brock Nelson's hat trick goal.

"That was great play by Faulk to get the puck up and I don't think the goalie even saw it.

"It's good for us to win our bracket and be able to control our own destiny."
