Follow @james_tanner123 Last night the Coyotes went to town on the Avalanche.
Trust me when I say you don't need any analysis or thought about how the game was won, who got lucky or what happened: we all know that whoever wins deserved it.
Results are all that matters.
And, uh, stats don't tell the whole story.
Now, what does tell the whole story? I don't rightly know. I only know one thing: whoever has the best job is the smartest. If a GM did it, it must be good 'else how would he have gotten his gig?
Take my boys Dahlbeck and Grossmann (and don't you dare misspell their names - you are an English Speaking Canadian and you must, 100% of the time, nail the proper nouns of esoteric European languages, lest you have no pride in thy work) those guys worked their tails off last night.
+1 a couple of hitz - jeezum crow was they awesome at clearin' the net. Hell, I almost thought they was Canadian the way they played.

— HennyPenny (@Boedsfan4ever) December 28, 2015The one thing many peeps don't be getting is that stats don't tell the whole story. Well, not them fancy ones. You gotta hit guys and ignore all the theory and literature that suggests anything we've ever done wrong is wrong. Because you could throw all the objective stats and fancy book learnin at me you want, but my opinion is my opinion and I don't care to alternative it or revise it in no way no how.
What I am getting at here, is that if you don't agree with me there can only be one reason: You didn't watch the game. Nope. Anyone who did would know that what I say - i.e what I heard by some clown on TV whose authority is derived solely from the power of a cathode ray - is the truth and only those who are making stuff up and didn't watch the game would say opposite.
Did it ever occur to me that part of the basis for having science in the first place is that two humans can watch the same event and see two totally different things even though neither one of them is lying or stupid?
Truthfully it did not, but heart is a lot more important than anything else. You don't need to measure it, you can just tell.
Remember boys, it's a results business and results are all that matters. You are what yer record says you are. 17th best team in the NHL - and if you say different then screw you cause we are fans of the team and we don't have time for your critiques.
If you want to rip this team, well buddy, you don't know anything. If you did, you'd be a huge Antoine Vermette fan. I mean, I like the guy so his game can't possibly decline. Just as Tippett, with his 5-hundo wins is virtually infallable.
Avalanche 1, Coyotes 2. We're Playoffin' this year and don't you forget it.
I honestly think Nick Grossmann is as Norris Trophy candidate so you know what you can do with your fancy pants and your fancy stats?
Well if you don't, it doesn't matter cause if you have a different opinion than us we will ban you. We will shut you up. We do not take to dissenters and the worst thing about free speech is free speech. I mean, this is the NHL we're talking about, and a homogeneous, thought-free place is what all fans deserve.
Criticism = Insult - you know it's 2016 right?
Thanks for readin'
