WOW! Again, the Oilers get the top pick in the draft.
What I think this means?
We are going to see a major trade of a guy like Eberle or Nugent-Hopkins will be moved at the draft and a major defenseman will be brought in. The Oilers need a d-man in the worst way and there are some good ones out there to be had if you put Nugent-Hopkins or Eberle on the table.
Were I the Oilers I would call the Predators about Seth Jones or Roman Josi for Taylor Hall. The Preds are the one NHL team with three top two dmen. Three potential Norris candidates in their career. And they need offense. The Blues also have three top two dmen, but they aren't as young and the Oilers should get a guy who can mature with them.
