Eugene Melnyk hinted at wholesale changes last month after his club was eliminated from the playoffs and the Ottawa owner has followed through.
Over the weekend, GM Bryan Murray was kicked upstairs to an advisory role in favor of Pierre Dorion Jr and today the Senators have fired head coach Dave Cameron after 1 1/2 seasons.
Cameron led Ottawa to their incredible run to the post-season in 2015 and was 70-50-17 in 137 games as head coach.
