I talked to a source just now who informed me that Montreal and Calgary have had discussions regarding Dougie Hamilton and Desharnais and a top prospect/pick are the starting point. According to the source, "These discussions have been going on since the draft, where Montreal made a major play for Hamilton."
Last night on Hockey Night in Canada Nick Kypreos also reported that Arizona and Pittsburgh were interested in Hamilton.
My source agrees, adding "there are at least three other teams...one would be LA."
