The Calgary Flames may not have to travel very far to keep tabs on Eetu Tuuola during the 2016-17 season.
The 6'3', 225 pound winger, who was a 6th round pick of Calgary in June, was chosen 40th overall by Everett in the 2016 CHL Import Draft and it sounds like that's where he'll be suiting up this fall.

Tuuola spent this past season playing for HPK in Finland. He dressed in 29 games for their U-20 team and tallied nine goals and 14 points. In 10 games with the big club he recorded just one assist.
The competition in Everett would be easier than that in Finland's mens league, obviously, but he would surely benefit from more ice time and more games if he does indeed report.
This is a story worth following as we slowly approach the upcoming season.
