Quick hit. I talked to a few sources over the last 72 hours and it appears a few of the teams who are highly interested in Todd McLellan, are also hedging their bets on another coach becoming available...and that coach isn't Babcock...It is Claude Julien.
The general feeling is always shifting (mainly because I honestly don't believe Babcock will even think about what he is doing until after the Wings, who are up 2-1, are eliminated) but right now more people feel waiting on Babcock could prove costly if he choses to stay...and the teams I talked to are very nervous about missing out on McLellan or Julien...
Claude Julien is, as of this writing, still employed by the Bruins...but a few sources told me to expect Julien to be allowed to talk to other teams soon...(on adding "within the week")
