Florida has traded injured forward Dave Bolland and 2015 first rounder Lawson Crouse to the Arizona Coyotes for a conditional second and a third round pick. Another major salary dump taken on by Arizona, but Crouse is a prime young asset.
Brandon Pirri signed a one-year deal with the NY Rangers and just after the webcast, the Avalanche ended their coaching search with the hiring of Jared Bednar, who won an ECHL title in South Carolina in 2009 and a Calder Cup with the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters last season.
