The internet is usually not the nicest place. Auston Matthews is different. He is deserving of our collective love, and he was certainly feeling it last night. Fans and players alike were blown away by Matthews’ incredible start.
First, let’s address a real problem:

In case you missed it (which really - hahaha - we know you didn’t), Auston Matthews had a pretty okay start. And by “okay,… I mean to say “HOLY CRAP THAT WAS INSANE.… This accurate scoreboard is a pretty solid example:
