The Avalanche will use the same lineup Sunday in San Jose that they did Friday in their 6-3 loss in Vancouver.
They are 0-1-1 in the past two games, haven’t lost two in a row in regulation since Feb. 13-15 to Washington and Los Angeles, the latter at Falcon Stadium at Air Force.
This means defenseman Nikita Zadorov will be a healthy scratch for the second game in a row.
The Sharks also are 0-1-1 in their past two games after winning the previous three.

The Avalanche remain two points behind St. Louis in the race for first in the Central Division and Western Conference. The Blues play in Chicago a couple hours before the Avalanche begin play.
