With the trade deadline behind us everyone is writing their "Winners and Losers" Articles, and I will as well this week, but I think it's always a good idea to give a little distance and see how the new players work with their new environments. I also think "winners and losers" needs to be split up into "short term and long term."
Best and Worst?
Today's question goes far beyond the trade deadline. The deadline is the latest sample point, but to really determine who the best and worst GMs are in the NHL currently you need to take the last few deadlines, trades at any point, the draft, the coaches they have hired, how they have handled the salary cap...etc..
So on this Monday morning I thought it was time to hear from you on this topic, and then I will chime in with my answer this afternoon and include some of the best points I see in your comments....so have at it.
