Wild Wrap Road Trip in Vegas (Wild)

After seeing their eight game win streak snapped last night in LA with the 2-1 loss the Wild look to avenge an earlier defeat in Vegas 3-2 back on November 11th.

The Wild have gone 10-3-1 since that last meeting with the Golden Knights.

Jonas Brodin missed last night's game in LA and will once again moss tonight's contest as well. Brodin is the Wild's best defenseman and has been for the last few years. He has gotten more accolades this season but no one skates as well as #25 nor makes the game seem so fluid.

The Wild last night failed to match up with the system that the Kings were playing with the 1-3-1. They continously tried to skate the puck in when shooting it in would have been a far better approach and taking what the Kings gave them.

I totally get the possession game but when the Wild attacked the zone this way they were able to establish their forecjeck. The problem was they rarely used this approach and they found themselves on the short end of the scoreboard.

It's always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
