Wild Looking to Ramp Things Up, Host Avs (Wild)

0 and 3 was not how the Wild wanted to kick off the preseason, but seriously it is preseason and we have yet to see a Wild lineup that has a majority of their NHL core.

That will all change this evening as they host Colorado at the Xcel Energy Center.

Expected lines for tonight are:

Zucker Staal Granlund Parise Koivu Niederreiter Eriksson Ek Greenway Coyle Fologno Fehr Read

Brodin Dumba Bartkowski Spurgeon Prosser Murphy

Stalock Hammond

Bruce Boudreau expects his team to get things ramped up heading into the final week of camp. The first three games have all taken a similar route with the Wild coming out flat in each. They seem to get the legal going around the team 10 minute market and take control of the majority of play until the final 5 to 8 minutes of each game, losing all three after being tied late in the third period of each contest.

Again not so alarming as Boudreau was really playing all of his players to see what they had in game situations. That will change now as the roster has been trimmed and the final roster battles heat up.
