Wild Hit the Road in Arizona: Face "Hot?" Coyotes (Wild)

After a big statement weekend the Wild take their 8-3-0, and their league leading 7 come from behind wins, on the road to visit the struggling Arizona Coyotes tonight.

Arizona is 1-10-1 but they are coming off their lone victory Saturday night when they had a massive comeback of their own in the 5-4 home victory over the Seattle Kraken.

Seattle had opened the scoring with two goals in the first minute of the game, and it appeared this was going to be a route. Not so fast as the Coyotes responded with one of their won 34 seconds later but fell doen again by two in the first period. They drew a goal closer in the second and tied the game less than a minute into the third.

Phil Kessel gave Arizona the lead with a powerplay tally with just over six miinutes to play. That set off a mad rush by the Seattle to get the game tied which they did with the goalie pulled, Mark Giordano let one fly from the point and it found it's way through a maze of bodies and it looked like it was going to be decided in the extra session.

Lawson Crouse made sure it wasn't with his fourth of the season and second of the period just 13 seconds after Giordano had tied it and bam, the Yotes had win number one.

The Wild will need to continue to play their brand of hockey and not allow the Coyotes to stay in the game. There is a clear disparity between the talent on these two teams, however that does not ever guarantee the win.

No let down and no time to think you are better than you are Wild, because it is November and nothing is decided now. It is time to show that good teams put less talented teams away and do not allow them the opportunity to hang around and come back and beat you like the Kraken did on Saturday night.

It's Always Hockey Day in The State of Hockey!
